The Competition Tribunal has unconditionally approved the proposed merger in which Glencore Operations South Africa (Pty) Ltd ("GOSA") and Sibanye-Stillwater Ltd (“Sibanye”), through its subsidiaries, intend to consolidate the management of various chrome recovery plants which they currently own, manage and operate separately. The ownership of the plants will not change following the transaction.
